International Collectors Fair

In three days, from 25th of March till 27th of March, fifth Collecta will bring together philatelists, numismatists, collectors of fossils and minerals, antiques and other small collectables from all around Europe – among them more than 600 different Bakugan figures, so not only you, but also your kids will be impressed.

If you are interested in pieces from our past, this is the perfect time to visit Ljubljana and examine or even get a chance to purchase or sell collecting items at exhibition space. The Collecta will host more than 130 traders from 12 European countries.

Due to Ljubljana’s nomination to be World Book Capital, Collecta is bringing together a thematic exhibition “Books Everywhere”. So the exhibition this year will be marked by rare Slovenian books, old book-themed stamps and coins, autographs of Slovenian writers and poets and other book related collectables.

Every day during the fair, there will be a special children’s corner in which children will be able to create, play, write letters and get introduced to the interesting and exiting world of collecting.

And if you need some rest after a long day on fair, you can count on us. We will help you to find the best hotel, youth hostel or an apartment to satisfy your needs. If we may suggest – staying in Ljubljana for a couple of days is highy recommended in the springtime. If not for the friendly people and the cosy downtown of Ljubljana, you might want to stay a couple of days more just to check the many antiquarian shops the city is hosting. And if you are into fossils and minerals: why not take the chance and visit Postojnska jama – it’s only an hour drive away from Ljubljana.
